Ram Mandir Donation Theft Case: Petition demanding CBI investigation into Ram Mandir donation theft case rejected by Lucknow bench of High Court.

New Delhi. Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court has rejected the petition demanding CBI investigation into Ayodhya Ram temple donation theft case. This petition was filed by a person named Mohit Ashok. AAG Vinod Shahi presented the case in the court on behalf of the state government. Opposing the petition, the state government said that a petition related to this is already pending in the Supreme Court. In such a situation, there is no point in hearing this petition. After which the bench of Justice Rajan Rai and Justice Manjeev Shukla rejected the petition.

Let us tell you that in the donation theft case, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already constituted a three-member SIT which is investigating the entire matter in detail. SIT has already submitted its preliminary report to the government. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of advocates Ajay Kumar Rai and Dinesh Kumar Yadav requesting that the investigation be conducted by a special investigation team led by a CBI officer. Along with this, the petitioner had demanded a speedy hearing from the court, calling it a serious matter. However, on June 29, the apex court questioned the petitioner as to why there is such a hurry to hear the petition. Now the hearing in this case will be held in the Supreme Court after July 12.

After the SIT report, on the basis of the complaint given by temple trust member Krishna Mohan, the police had registered an FIR in this case in Ayodhya on June 25.
