3 new universities will open in UP, great news for these districts

Lucknow: The state government has taken a big decision to give new strength to higher education in Uttar Pradesh. The cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has approved the establishment of three new private universities in Kanpur Nagar, Ghaziabad and Fatehpur. After this decision, the total number of private universities in the state will increase to 56. The government believes that with this, students will get the benefit of quality education, research and employment-oriented courses in the state itself.

New universities will be established in three districts

Following Cabinet approval, three different entities have been given permission to establish universities under the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019. All proposals have been approved after evaluating the prescribed standards.

Agricultural education will get a boost in Kanpur

Swami Brahmanand Saraswati Charitable Trust, Delhi has received permission to establish a private university on about 51.739 acres of land in Kanpur city. This university will pay special attention to agricultural education, modern farming, agricultural research and development of new technologies. With this, students studying in agriculture sector will get better opportunities.

Focus will be on employment oriented education in Ghaziabad

Indian Institute of Management and Engineering Society has received approval to establish a private university on approximately 26.2656 acres of land in Ghaziabad. Management, engineering, technical and other professional courses will be conducted here, so that the youth can get education as per the needs of the industries.

Fatehpur students will get big benefits

Anglo Sanskrit College has been given permission to set up a private university on about 20.45 acres of land in Fatehpur. With the opening of this university, students of Fatehpur and surrounding districts will not have to depend on Lucknow, Prayagraj, Kanpur or other big cities for higher education.

New opportunities will open for the youth

With the opening of new universities, thousands of students will get the opportunity to get quality higher education in their own state. Besides, new employment opportunities will also be created for teachers, researchers and other employees. This initiative of the government is being considered an important step towards making Uttar Pradesh stronger in the field of education and skill development.
