Turkey Weather Alert: Warning of heavy rain in Türkiye, Saudi Embassy asks people to be careful

There is a possibility of heavy rain in many provinces of Turkey, in view of which the government there has issued an alert. The Saudi Embassy has informed people living in Turkey and traveling there about this warning so that they can avoid any danger and take care of their safety.

According to weather information, heavy rain may occur in the eastern parts of Samsun province as well as Ordu and Giresun provinces in the morning. Heavy local rain is also predicted in the areas around Rize, Artvin, Erzurum, Kars and Ardahan provinces in the afternoon.

The Turkish State Meteorological Service (MGM) issued a yellow warning for Kars province. This warning mentioned heavy thunder and lightning. Officials said that this could cause problems like sudden floods, water logging in low-lying areas of the city, lightning and strong winds. Also, due to the hilly area of ​​Kars, the risk of landslides has also increased there.

The Saudi Embassy also advised caution in the last week of June for provinces along the Black Sea coast such as Ordu, Giresun, Rize and northern Artvin so that people can avoid the risk of floods and heavy rains.
