Norway have cruised into the Quarter Finals after winning the Round of 16 match against football giants Brazil.

Erling Haaland celebrated Norway’s historic World Cup victory over Brazil with a post-match selfie that reportedly amassed one million likes in just one hour.

The selfie broke the internet in which Haaland posted with the caption “Well well well (laughing emoji)”.

Football fans were quick to respond to the post as one fan wrote “beating brazil to the quarterfinals and u get on twitter to rub it in their face omg he’d literally run a kpop stan acc like the navy.”

One user compared the craze to Taylor Swift’s fame saying “1 million likes in 2 hours I ain’t seen that since a Taylor Swift album announcement tweet”.

The Manchester City striker scored twice in the closing stages to secure a stunning 2-0 win over the five-time champion.

His remarkable performance led his country into the quarter-finals for the first time.

Norway will now face England in the next round as the two teams will compete to secure the seat on Semi Finals.
