Shree Charani only Indian in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Team of the Tournament
N. Shree Charani is the only Indian to be named in ICC’s Team of the Tournament for the recently concluded Women’s T20 World Cup 2026.
Charani finished as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker, claiming 14 wickets at an average of 8.35 and economy rate of 5.85 despite India’s unsuccessful campaign.
Champion Australia is the most represented team with four players (Beth Mooney, Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, and Sophie Molineux), followed by runner-up England with two (Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Nat Sciver-Brunt).
There is also space for Scotland’s Darcey Carter, Pakistan’s Fatima Sana, and Ireland’s Orla Prendergast, all of whom had impressive tournaments despite their teams struggling for wins.
