Huawei Pura 90 Series will be launched globally on July 14.
Huawei will launch three flagship 5G smartphones of the Pura 90 Series in Malaysia on July 14. The series is expected to have features like 200MP telephoto camera, 6500mAh battery, Kirin 9030S chipset and HarmonyOS 6.1.
Tech: Huawei has announced the global launch date of its new flagship Pura 90 Series. The company will launch Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max in the international market during an event to be held in Kuala Lumpur on July 14. Powerful camera, big battery and AI based features can be seen in the new series.
Huawei’s global launch event will be held on July 14
Huawei has officially confirmed that it will launch its new Pura 90 Series in the global market on 14 July 2026 during the ‘Now is Your Moment’ event held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. This series will include Huawei Pura 90, Huawei Pura 90 Pro and Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max. The company has already launched these smartphones in China and now they will be made available in international markets.
This new flagship series of Huawei will come with premium design, high-end camera system and AI based smart features. The company aims to further strengthen its presence in the flagship smartphone segment. Along with smartphones, other smart devices are also likely to be introduced in the launch event.
Powerful display and battery features can be found in Pura 90 Series
According to reports, Huawei Pura 90 can have a 6.84-inch 1.5K flat display. The phone is expected to have a large battery of 6500mAh, which will be able to provide backup for a long time. Apart from this, the design of the smartphone will be quite slim and its thickness is likely to be around 6.9 mm and weight will be around 203 grams.
Whereas Huawei Pura 90 Pro can be given a 6.6 inch display. It is likely to have a 50MP primary camera, 12.5MP ultra-wide camera and 50MP periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto camera can support 4x optical zoom, which will provide better detail even in distant photos.
200MP camera will be available in Pro Max model
Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max, the most premium model of the series, is expected to have a larger 6.9-inch display and advanced camera system. According to reports, it can be provided with a 50MP primary camera, 40MP ultra-wide sensor and 200MP periscope telephoto camera. This camera will support 4x optical zoom, 8x optical quality zoom and 100x digital zoom.
The company claims that with the help of the new prism-based telephoto system, the camera will capture more light than before, making better photography possible even in low light. This feature can especially attract users who like mobile photography.
Kirin 9030S chipset and AI features will be special
Huawei Pura 90 Pro and Pura 90 Pro Max are likely to get the new Kirin 9030S processor. This chipset will be capable of providing AI based image processing, better multitasking and faster performance. Both smartphones can be provided with 6000mAh battery, Kunlun Glass protection and HarmonyOS 6.1 operating system.
Apart from this, all models are expected to have 13MP front camera. Features like AI-powered photography tools, better video recording and smart image processing can also be included in the major features of this series.
Huawei’s new Pura 90 Series is considered to be the company’s most premium flagship lineup so far. Now all eyes are on the launch event on July 14, where the global price, availability and all the official specifications of these smartphones will be revealed.
