Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana: A very wonderful news is coming for the graduation passed girl students of Bihar. Under the Chief Minister Kanya Utthan Yojana, the government process has started to send incentive amount of Rs 50,000 each to the bank accounts of about 1.5 lakh graduate passed daughters of the state. To implement this big scheme, the Higher Education Department has sent a formal proposal to the Finance Department to pass the budget. As soon as the budget is approved, the work of transferring money directly into the accounts of girl students will be started without any delay. This step of the government is going to provide great help to lakhs of daughters of the state in pursuing further studies and becoming self-reliant.
Verification of papers and data completed
According to the information received from the Higher Education Department, the complete data of all the girl students who had completed their graduation by December 2025 has been uploaded on the official website and has been carefully scrutinized. This work of verification of documents has now been completely completed. After investigation, preparations have been expedited to provide the benefits of this scheme to those girl students whose applications have been found correct in every respect. The department says that as soon as the budget proposal is given the green signal by the Finance Department, without wasting any time the money will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of the girl students through Direct Benefit Transfer i.e. DBT.
Error found in some forms, opportunity to correct them
During the scrutiny of data and documents, the Education Department has also noticed some technical mistakes and shortcomings in the online applications of some girl students. The aim of the department is that no eligible and deserving student’s money should get stuck nor should she be deprived of the benefits of this scheme. For this the department has taken a very sensitive step. Strict orders have been given to the concerned universities to immediately correct these mistakes at their level through online medium. As soon as improvements are made at the university level, the applications of these girl students will also be completely cleared and they will also be able to get the full amount of the scheme on time.
Senior official of education department gave important information
Regarding this entire scheme and transfer of money, Director of Higher Education Prof. NK Aggarwal himself has shared important information. He said that according to the rules of Chief Minister Girl Child (Graduate) Incentive Scheme, there is a provision to give assistance amount of Rs 50-50 thousand to all the eligible girl students passing graduation in the state. The department is currently busy completing its final preparations for distributing the money. All the administrative formalities are being completed expeditiously and very soon this huge amount will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the girl students. Girl students have been advised to keep their bank accounts active.
Girl students of these universities will get direct benefits
To avail the benefits of this ambitious scheme, many big universities of Bihar have uploaded the complete data of their girl students on the government portal. This mainly includes BN Mandal University, BRA Bihar University, Jaiprakash University, Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Munger University, Patliputra University, Patna University, Purnia University, Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University, Veer Kunwar Singh University and Magadh University. Very soon, the correct applications of the girl students who have passed out from all these educational institutions are going to get the direct benefit of this scheme. Due to this scheme of the government, there is an atmosphere of happiness in the families of the girl students also.
