Nepal: Notice to Sherbahadur Deuva’s son in money laundering investigation, order to appear in 7 days
Kathmandu: Nepal’s Money Laundering Investigation Department has issued a notice to Jayveer Deuva, son of former President of Nepali Congress and former Prime Minister Sherbahadur Deuva, to appear before the department within seven days.
The notice states that clarifications and information have to be obtained on some important topics during the investigation related to disproportionate assets (money laundering).
For this purpose, Jaiveer Deuba has been asked to appear before the department within seven days from the date of receipt of the notice. This notice has been pasted at the residence of Deuva family in Budhanilkanth.
Earlier, the department has also called former Prime Minister Sherbahadur Deuva and his wife Arju Rana Deuva for questioning. However, Arzoo has informed the department that she will be present in the department by the end of the month of Sawan and give necessary information and clarification.
