Every effort is being made to save the people trapped in the Wayanad landslide, Chief Minister VD Satheesan himself is monitoring the relief work: Priyanka Gandhi.

Wayanad. The death toll in the deadly landslide in Wayanad, Kerala has increased to four. At the same time, a major rescue operation by many agencies is still going on. Search is on for four missing people buried under the debris.

Congress General Secretary and MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote on her X-post that every effort is being made to save the people trapped in the landslide. He wrote that Chief Minister VD Satheesan himself is monitoring the relief operations. Police and NDRF teams have been present at the spot for some time and SDRF teams and Civil Defense volunteers have also reached there.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote that we all the district administration, Minister T. Siddique and A.P. Anil Kumar (who is en route from Thiruvananthapuram), is working closely with local party officials and relevant agencies. My deepest condolences to those who have lost their precious family members. We will stand with you in this difficult time and provide all possible help. Our prayers and hopes go out to those who have not yet met. Hopefully they will keep their courage and rescue teams are trying to reach them. Also, may his loved ones who are waiting for him find courage in this sad time.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra wrote that I appeal to the UDF workers, officials and the general public to provide all possible help by strictly following the guidelines of the administration.
