Kidnapping of two students in Lucknow, police arrested four accused within just two hours

Lucknow. Within just two hours, the police of BBD police station busted the case of kidnapping and extortion in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh and arrested four accused. In this case, it has been revealed that the accused had kidnapped two youths and held them hostage. After this, under pressure, Rs 20,000 was transferred online from the accounts of those youths. However, the police recovered both the kidnapped youths safely.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) East Dr. Deeksha Sharma said that Ram Suresh Chaudhary, a resident of Barhpur Kunwar located in Haraiya of Basti, informed the BBD police station on Monday that his nephew Nirbhay Verma and his partner Abhishek Verma have been kidnapped. After this, considering the seriousness of this matter, five teams were also formed while registering a case. Along with this, with the help of technical evidence, local information and surveillance, the police intensified the search for the suspects. According to the information received, during the investigation, the police received information that some suspicious youths were present around Anandi Water Park. After becoming suspicious, the police team cordoned off the area and arrested four accused present on the spot. Then Nirbhay Verma and Abhishek Verma, who were kidnapped, were rescued safely from the address given by them.

All these arrested accused include Abhay Chaudhary resident of Basti, Navneet Tiwari alias Golu resident of Pratapgarh, Piyush Raj resident of Mau and Aryan Singh resident of Gorakhpur. It is being told that all these accused were living in BBD area and doing studies and other work. After being caught, the police sent all four accused to jail. Apart from this, their criminal history is being ascertained.
