Amarnath Yatra: Seventh batch of devotees leaves Jammu base camp amid tight security arrangements

Jammu, 8 July. The seventh batch of devotees for Amarnath Yatra left from Jammu Base Camp on Wednesday amid tight security arrangements and devotional atmosphere. There was great enthusiasm among the passengers for the darshan of Baba Barfani.

The devotees praised the arrangements and security arrangements of the Yatra and described it as satisfactory. A devotee said during the conversation, ‘The opportunity of Amarnath Yatra comes only by the grace of Baba Barfani. Got the opportunity to have darshan for the first time in the year 2025 and now Baba has called for the second consecutive year also. Amarnath Yatra is possible only for those devotees who receive the call of Bholenath.

The devotee told that he is on a tour to India from the year 2022 for the purpose of propagating Sanatan Dharma. He said his visit included visiting major religious places like 12 Jyotirlingas, Char Dham, seven Saptapuri, 51 Shaktipeeth, 108 Siddhapeeth, Panch Kailash, Panch Kedar, Pashupatinath and Amarnath.

The devotees also appreciated the arrangements made during the yatra. A passenger said that earlier during the journey, there were many reports of stopping the journey due to security reasons, but now extensive security arrangements have been made. There is deployment of security forces on the entire yatra route and the devotees are feeling completely safe. Praising the security forces, he said that due to their dedication and vigilance, the devotees are able to have darshan of Baba without any worries.

A devotee said, ‘It is very amazing and the way the security arrangements are made here is also very good. The credit for this should go to the Prime Minister and the government. Another devotee said that he expected the weather to be quite cold, but it is feeling hot here. However, he praised the travel management, saying that the officials and staff are guiding the passengers at every step and providing necessary information.

At the same time, a female devotee said that all the arrangements during the yatra are very good. He said that the service, facilities and security arrangements are satisfactory, due to which all the devotees are feeling completely safe.
