It is being told that she was arranging vehicles to send TMC workers injured in the rally to the hospital. During this time, some TMC workers present under his security came very close to him. Rally was taken out against rape-murder
Mamata Banerjee had taken out a protest march on Tuesday against the alleged rape-murder incident that took place in Baruipur, West Bengal. During this rally, tension increased between TMC and BJP supporters and both the sides came face to face. When the situation worsened, the police had to intervene and the situation was later brought under control.
TMC attacked BJP
Trinamool Congress claims that this protest march had already received permission from the Calcutta High Court and the rally was proceeding on its scheduled route. The party alleges that during this time BJP supporters forcibly entered the procession and tried to block the path of the rally, after which sloganeering started between the two sides and the matter turned into a violent clash.
TMC claims- 41 workers injured
According to Trinamool Congress, 41 party workers, supporters and leaders have been injured in this violence. All the injured have been admitted to SSKM hospital for treatment. The party alleged that its workers were attacked by “BJP supporters” attacked and many people including women were beaten up.

Questions raised on police and security system
After the incident, TMC leaders have also raised questions on the role of police and central security forces.
