Sourav Ganguly got a special gift on his 54th birthday, the first look of the biopic was released.

Described the first look poster as the most special birthday gift ever. National Award winning actor Rajkumar Rao is playing the role of Ganguly in this film. This film will be released in theaters on 14 May 2027.

After the release of the poster, Ganguly said that it has made his birthday even more memorable. He said that this poster reminds him of the most special moments of his cricket career. Ganguly praised Rajkumar Rao and said that he has played this character with complete honesty and hard work. He is confident that Rajkumar will convey his life story to the audience in the best way.

Sourav Ganguly wished the entire team of the film and expressed hope that when this film will be released in theaters next year, the fans will definitely like it on the big screen. The first look poster of the film shows Rajkummar Rao in that historic moment of the 2002 NatWest Trophy final when Sourav Ganguly celebrated India’s victory by waving his shirt on the Lord’s balcony. The tricolor waving at the back of the poster makes this moment even more special.
