Will the prices of petrol and diesel increase again? Did Trump declare war? Panic around the world

US-Iran War: US President Donald Trump has once again warned of strict military action against Iran. On Wednesday he said that America is preparing to conduct another airstrike against Iran. Earlier, Trump had claimed that the ceasefire was no longer effective. In an interview with an American news channel, responding to a question about the possibility of taking military action again against Iran, Trump said, “We attacked them hard last night. We may attack them hard again tonight.” Trump made this statement during the NATO summit in Türkiye’s capital Ankara.

Accused of attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz

Trump said that US military action is being taken in response to alleged attacks on commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Trump alleged that Iran had targeted commercial ships with drones and missiles and that its behavior remains aggressive. He also warned that if Iran does not stop its activities, America can attack its civilian infrastructure and capture Kharg Island.

End ceasefire with Iran-Trump

US President Donald Trump had earlier announced that the ceasefire with Iran has ended. During the NATO Summit 2026 held in Ankara, Turkey, Trump said that continuing talks with Iran is no longer beneficial. He said that for him the ceasefire is over and he no longer wants to make any agreement with Iran. Responding to a media question, he said, “In my opinion, the ceasefire is over. I don’t want to make any deal with the Iranians. There are people in power there who are very dangerous and violent.”

Tension increased again after America attacks

This statement of Trump has come at a time when America carried out new air strikes on many targets of Iran late on Tuesday night. After these attacks, tension has once again increased in West Asia (Middle East). Trump said that America has launched a very precise attack on Iran. Trump said that America had initially given Iran a chance to handle the situation, but despite this, Iran carried out rocket attacks on commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. In response, America took military action. The US claims Iran targeted three commercial ships: Marshall Islands-flagged MT Al Reqayat, Saudi Arabia’s MT Wedian, and Liberia’s MT Cyprus Prosperity. Washington says that the military operation against Iran was started in response to these attacks.

NATO Chief supported America attacks

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte called US attacks on Iran very important. He said that if there is a ceasefire, it should be followed, and accused Iran of violating it. Rutte said that America’s retaliatory action after the attacks on the ships was justified. According to America Central Command (CENTCOM), more than 80 targets were targeted in the new military operation against Iran on July 7. These included Iran’s air defense system, command and control network, coastal radar, anti-ship missile system, and more than 60 boats of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Iran retaliated

According to Iran’s state news agency Fars, the Iranian army and IRGC launched drone and missile attacks on US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait in response to the US attacks. The agency claims that 85 US military bases including Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait were targeted. Iran also claimed that its air defense system shot down an American MQ-9 drone over Bushehr province.
