Police have exposed alleged prostitution by raiding a spa center in GN Ganj of Laheriasarai police station area of Darbhanga city of Bihar. In this action, the police have detained 4 women, 3 youths and the manager of the spa center. At the same time, the women have been sent to the One Stop Center under police surveillance.
Crime Branch DSP Uday Shankar said that the police had received secret information that unethical activities were taking place in a spa center running in front of Punjab National Bank. As soon as the information was received, the police team raided the spot. During the raid, the police found a young man and a girl in objectionable condition. Apart from this, many important things related to the investigation have also been recovered from the spot. At present the police is investigating the entire matter and trying to find out who else is involved in this business.

Spa center started 3 months ago
Initial police investigation has revealed that this spa center was started about three months ago. As soon as the operator of the spa center got wind of the raid, he fled from the spot. The police are continuously conducting raids to arrest him. DSP said that during the investigation of the mobile phones of the detained manager and a woman, photographs of many girls were found. Police claim that the customers were first shown photographs and if they liked the girls, they were called to the spa centre.
Women from Delhi-Gujarat also included
According to the police, some of the detained women are residents of other states. These also include women from Delhi and Gujarat. Inquiries revealed that these women were accommodated in different hotels in the city. When a customer came, he was called to the spa center. Police have seized objectionable material, registers and mobile phones from the spot. FSL team was also called for scientific investigation of the matter. The team has collected necessary evidence.

DSP of Crime Branch raided
Many police officers including Crime Branch DSP Uday Shankar, Laheriasarai police station incharge Amit Kumar, Mahila police station incharge Pushpalata Kumari were involved in the raid. Police have sealed the spa centre. The DSP said that legal action will be taken based on the FSL report and further investigation. The operator and other people associated with this racket will also be arrested soon.
Local people say that suspicious activities were going on in this spa center for the last few days. There was constant coming and going of youths till late night. This was also complained to the police several times. After this, the police took action on the basis of secret information. The police is now also investigating who else is involved in this business. The hotel operators where these women were staying are also being interrogated.
