The company has set the record date for dividend as 24 July 2026. That is, investors whose names will be recorded in the records of the company on that date will get the benefit of dividend. However, for this, investors will have to buy Airtel shares by 23 July 2026.

Under SEBI’s T+1 settlement system, the shares are delivered to the investor’s demat account on the next business day of purchasing the shares. So if an investor buys Airtel shares by July 23, he will become a shareholder by July 24 and will be eligible for the dividend.

Bharti Airtel’s record of paying dividends has been quite strong. The company has paid dividend 22 times since July 2009. Earlier last year, Airtel had given a dividend of Rs 16 per share to the investors, whereas before that this amount was Rs 8 per share. At present the dividend yield of the company is around 0.84 percent.

Amidst the announcement of dividend, investors are keeping an eye on Airtel shares. In the recent trading session, the company’s shares were seen trading at around Rs 1,915 with a decline of about 1 per cent. However, Airtel shares have given good returns to investors in the long term. According to the data, the company’s shares have given returns of about 116 percent in the last three years and about 261 percent in the last five years.

International brokerage firm Nomura has maintained its ‘Buy’ rating on Bharti Airtel. The brokerage has set the target price of the company at Rs 2,355. According to Nomura, the company’s free cash flow may strengthen as Airtel’s 5G network expansion is almost completed and capital expenditure is reduced. Due to this, the financial condition of the company is expected to improve further in the coming time.

This dividend of Airtel is a special opportunity for those investors who have been holding the shares of the company for a long time. Investor confidence also remains consistent due to the company’s strong market position, 5G expansion and improved financial performance.
