Celebrating 60 years of journey, Hema Malini became emotional, remembered and paid tribute to Dharmendra

Bollywood Updates: Hindi cinema’s dream girl Hema Malini’s glorious journey of 60 years in the film industry was celebrated in a grand style in Mumbai. In this program organized in the name of Diamond Jubilee Celebration, memorable glimpses of his film journey, songs, music and many emotional moments were seen. On this occasion, Hema Malini shared many interesting things while remembering the early days of her career.

Got emotional remembering Dharmendra

At the beginning of the program, Hema Malini paid tribute to the late actor and her husband Dharmendra. They paid tribute to him by offering flowers on his photograph. The people present at the ceremony also felt this moment emotionally.

My film journey started from here

During the program organized at Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai, Hema Malini said that she has many special memories associated with this auditorium. She told that when she came to Mumbai for the shooting of her first film Sapno Ka Saudagar, she stayed at this place. She used to go from here every day for Raj Kapoor’s studio shooting. Not only this, he also received his first Filmfare Award on this platform.

He said that celebrating his 60 years of journey on the same stage after years is a very emotional and memorable experience for him. In his words, it was as if life had come full circle and brought it back to where everything had started.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju attended this special function as the chief guest while Maharashtra Government Minister Ashish Shelar was the guest of honour. Hema Malini told that both the leaders appreciated her film contribution. Also paid tribute to Dharmendra, calling him a true legend of Indian cinema.
