‘My films did not get theaters…’ Govinda’s big revelation regarding ‘Coolie No. 1’ remake

Govinda’s pain spills over ‘Coolie No. 1’ remake

The 1995 film ‘Coolie No. 1’, directed by David Dhawan, has been one of the biggest hits of Govinda’s career. The pairing of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor was very much liked by the audience in this film.

However, when this film was remade, Govinda expressed his displeasure about it. He had said that he had invested money in this project and he had to suffer a loss of about Rs 16 crore.

Govinda had said in the interview that he never likes to speak against anyone, because he respects the hard work and investment of every artist.

‘People tried to end his career’

Recalling his days of struggle, Govinda had said that in the last several years he had invested money in many places, but he had to suffer losses.

He had alleged that some people in the industry did not treat him well. His films did not find theaters and some people wanted to end his career. However, Govinda said that this did not happen and he maintained his identity.

Gave advice to children to work hard and wait

In the interview, when Govinda was asked about his children Tina and Yashvardhan, he said that he always advises them to move forward with respect and decency.

Govinda said that his children should wait for their right time, but at the same time keep working hard. He also said that it is not necessary that he needs the support of any big name, he himself can create a platform for him.

Govinda and Sunita have been together for almost four decades

Let us tell you that almost four decades have passed since the marriage of Govinda and Sunita Ahuja. Both of them have two children – daughter Tina Ahuja and son Yashvardhan Ahuja.

Tina made her Bollywood debut in the year 2015 with the film ‘Second Hand Husband’, while Yashvardhan is also preparing to enter the film industry soon.
