Sony RX10 V Camera Launch: Sony’s powerful camera for content creators, support of 25x optical zoom and 4K 120fps video.

Sony RX10 V has features like 20.1 megapixel sensor, AI based autofocus, 25x optical zoom and 4K 120fps video recording. The company claims that this camera is capable of giving excellent performance for both photos and videos.

The price of Sony RX10 V has been kept at 2,499 Euro (about Rs 2.72 lakh) in the European market. Whereas in Britain its price is around 2,199 pounds (about Rs 2.81 lakh). Pre-order booking of this camera has started. However, the company has not yet shared any official information regarding its price and launch date in India.

Sony RX10 V has a 20.1MP 1.0-type stacked Exmor RS CMOS sensor. With this, the company’s latest BIONZ XR image processor is available, which helps in better photo quality and faster processing. The camera has a ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T 24-600mm F2.4-4.0 lens, which supports 25x optical zoom. This feature helps in capturing even distant objects with clear details.

Sony RX10 V has an AI processing unit, which improves real time recognition autofocus. This camera can recognize and track subjects like humans, animals, birds, insects, cars, trains and airplanes. It has 575 phase-detection autofocus points. Apart from this, this camera can do blackout free burst shooting up to 30fps with continuous autofocus and auto exposure tracking.

Sony RX10 V is quite special for videography. It has support for 4K 120fps video recording. Apart from this, the camera also provides the facility of slow motion playback up to 5x. Video features include 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, S-Cinetone color profile, S-Log3 support, Active Mode image stabilization, LUT import support, auto framing, time-lapse recording.
