Chinmayi Sripada’s concern

Singer Chinmayi Sripada also reacted to Wangchuk’s hunger strike. She shared a user’s post saying that she wants Wangchuk to end his hunger strike. Chinmayi also said that if a system does not care about a person’s life and he dies, it will be a big loss. He appealed to Wangchuk to take care of his health.


Sonam Wangchuk’s Perspective

Sonam Wangchuk said during his hunger strike that he does not consider himself a great leader or hero. He told that he is just a common citizen, who has tried to fulfill his responsibilities. Wangchuk said people call him modern Gandhi or hero, but he is not comfortable with these titles. According to him, every person should take responsibility in his life.
