Earthquake in UP politics! BJP leader’s claim – ‘Order was received to delete names of Muslim-Yadav voters’

A video of former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district minister Deepali Tiwari in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh has created a stir in political circles. In this video which is becoming increasingly viral on social media, Deepali Tiwari has made very serious allegations against some leaders associated with the organization of her own party. He has claimed that during the ‘Special Intensive Revision’ (SIR) campaign, he was entrusted with the task of removing from the voter list the names of people who have been permanent residents of that area for a long time. This revelation by Deepali has created a stir in the politics of Mahoba.

What is the whole matter and Deepali’s serious allegations?

Deepali Tiwari told through video that a few months ago she was given the responsibility of adding and deleting names in the voter list in a government school. He alleges that some party workers handed him ‘Form-7’ and pressurized him to remove the names of people from the Muslim and Yadav communities especially from the voter list.

Deepali told that when she approached the Booth Level Officer (BLO) to remove these names, the officer himself expressed surprise. The BLO asked, what is the reason for deleting the names of those who have been residents of Mahoba for years? Deepali says that this question of the officer shook her conscience and she raised questions on the entire matter and decided to make it public.

Opposition got a chance while sitting, BJP remained silent

These sensational allegations of the former district minister have not only raised questions on the working style of the BJP organization, but have also sparked debate about administrative impartiality. This issue has become a big weapon for the opposition parties to attack the government and BJP. At present, there has been no official response from BJP District President Mohanlal Kushwaha or the party organization on this entire episode. Nor is it yet clear whether any steps have been taken to investigate these serious allegations. At present, this matter is limited to mere allegations and claims, but its discussion is on every tongue in Mahoba politics.
