As of June 30, 2026, the network includes more than 13,376 hotels and alternative accommodation properties in 1,002 cities worldwide, according to the company. More than 12,330 properties across 868 cities in India have been linked to the initiative, while the remaining 1,046 properties across 134 popular tourist destinations in 39 countries are part of the network. The program has been designed keeping in mind the travel habits of Indian tourists. The company has explained that the main objective behind this initiative is to enable Indians traveling abroad to benefit from a single rewards platform along with domestic tourism. Hence, it will be possible to use the reward points earned in India at participating hotels abroad.

Onecircle also includes luxury hotels, premium properties, budget hotels, homestays, villas and alternative accommodation facilities. Thus, passengers will have the facility to choose various options according to their budget and needs. The company claims that the program will be useful for all types of customers, be it business travelers, family outings, planning weekend trips or long stays. The biggest attraction of this scheme is the reward points earned on every booking. Points worth at least 10 percent of the stay spent will be credited to the customer’s account. These points can be used for future bookings at any participating property in the network. This will help frequent travelers to save more.

MakeMyTrip said properties participating in the network were not selected based on numbers alone. The final selection is based on various criteria such as customer ratings, hands-on assessment by the company’s supply team and willingness of property owners to participate in the program. The company has expressed confidence that the customers will get quality service due to this. Another important aspect of the OneCircle program is the emphasis on Tier-II and Tier-III cities. According to the company, three out of every four properties in this network are in these small towns. It is hoped that this will help boost domestic tourism. Less famous tourist spots, religious centers, beaches, hill stations and hotels in scenic areas can also get more customers through this.

In terms of number of properties, Gurugram, Bengaluru and Jaipur are the leading cities with the highest number of properties. In terms of states, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Kerala have taken the lead. The company mentioned that they are heavily involved in the network due to the huge demand for tourism in these states throughout the year. Rajesh Magov, Executive Director and Group CEO, MakeMyTrip, said about the initiative, OneCircle is not just a rewards program but an effort to create long-term relationships between travelers and hotel partners. He said the program is based on the concept that every stay should be more profitable for the customer and every partner property should have an opportunity to grow business.

According to him, customers should get added value from every stay, be it domestic or international travel. At the same time, this program can be effective for hotels to reach new customers as well as re-attract old customers. According to the company, the program, which was launched in phases, has been receiving positive response from customers since its inception. The company also noted that there is a growing demand for loyalty programs that provide more value to customers in an increasingly digital booking culture.

As the competition in the online travel booking space in India is increasing, various companies are implementing loyalty programs, cashback and rewards schemes to attract customers. In such a situation, OneCircle can be a key venture for MakeMyTrip due to its large network of hotels and rewards points that can be used domestically as well as internationally. The company aims to provide passengers with a combined experience of convenience of various accommodation options, benefits of rewards and savings on future bookings on one platform. Therefore, the tourism and online travel industry is paying attention to the response of the Indian travelers to this program in the future.
