Dabra (Gwalior). Supporters of former State Home Minister Narottam Mishra got angry after not getting BJP ticket from Datia Assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh. They created a lot of ruckus. Narottam Mishra did not give any statement on this uproar. Now Narottam Mishra has appealed to his supporters to maintain peace. Narottam Mishra has said that all ideas are put in the party forum. My supporters should not use petrol, kerosene etc. like this.

Meanwhile, in Indore, Madhya Pradesh government minister and senior BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya said that there are 230 seats in the Madhya Pradesh Assembly. About 2000 people prepared to contest the elections, but not everyone can get a ticket. He said that the party’s decision is supreme and everyone will accept this decision. Kailash Vijayvargiya said that he had tried to talk to Narottam Mishra on Friday and Saturday. He said that Narottam Mishra is a senior and dedicated worker of BJP and will respect the decision.

By-election is to be held on Datia assembly seat of Madhya Pradesh. BJP has fielded Ashutosh Tiwari from Datia seat. Narottam Mishra’s supporters got angry after Ashutosh Tiwari got BJP ticket. Many including a district president of BJP had resigned from the party. Narottam supporters had blocked National Highway No. 44. When the police took action to clear the highway, a clash broke out with BJP supporters. As a result, 6 policemen including SP and ASP were injured. Seeing the uproar increasing, Narottam Mishra appealed to the supporters for peace. In the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections held in 2023, Congress candidate Rajendra Kumar Bharti defeated Narottam Mishra on Datia seat. By-election is going to be held on Datia seat after Rajendra Bharti was proved ineligible.
