How was the silver market on the last trading day?
There was a strong rise in the prices of silver in Delhi bullion market on Friday. Due to strong buying by traders and weakness in the US dollar, demand for precious metals increased, due to which silver broke the trend of decline that had been going on for three consecutive trading sessions. Silver, which closed at Rs 2,32,000 per kg on Thursday, jumped by Rs 5,000 on Friday to reach Rs 2,37,000 per kg (including all taxes). However, in the international market, spot silver fell by about 1 percent at $ 59.54 an ounce.
