China got the biggest success in making ‘Artificial Sun’
China has claimed a major breakthrough in achieving clean and almost unlimited energy. The country has successfully completed testing the world’s largest superconducting fusion magnet. This magnet is an important part of the nuclear fusion reactor, through which a plan is being made in future to generate electricity from ‘artificial sun’.
With this achievement, China has moved one step closer to its goal of producing electricity from fusion energy by 2030. This magnet has been developed by the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
