Britain Crime News: A man has been arrested after allegedly raping two teenage girls in a street in Blackpool. It is being told that this incident took place on July 25, 2026 in a street between Edward Street and Topping Street, in which two girls of teenage age were involved. After this, over the weekend, Lancashire Police surrounded the area and detectives and forensic officers were seen searching for evidence. Investigation into the incident has been started. Police officers are helping the girls.

Lancashire Police on Tuesday (July 28, 2026) released CCTV footage of a man they wanted to question. On Tuesday night, police said that a man has been arrested. A spokesman said: ‘On Tuesday evening we asked for your help in identifying a man we wanted to speak to in connection with the investigation into a rape in Blackpool.

Let us remind you that on Saturday (July 25) at 2.36 am our officers were called to an alley near Deansgate, where two teenage girls were reported to have been raped. It is being told that this incident happened on July 25, 2026 with two teenage girls in an alley between Edward Street and Topping Street.

Let us inform you that a 30 year old man from Blackpool was arrested at around 8.15 pm on suspicion of rape. He is in custody, many thanks to all those who shared our appeal.

One arrest has been made, however we are appealing for witnesses and information as the investigation is still ongoing.
