Degree colleges will open in B.Ed colleges, half-day studies will be held in schools on Saturday.
Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary gave a big gift of development to the area by inaugurating several projects related to education and police infrastructure in Tarapur of Munger district. He inaugurated the consolidated high schools which developed Saraswati Vidya Niketan of Tarapur Assembly as a model school. Besides, he also inaugurated the newly constructed Model Police Station building in Harpur and studies in the Government Degree College in Asarganj-Jalalabad.
The Chief Minister inspected the smart class, science laboratory, library and classrooms. Communicated with the students to know the quality of education and instructed the officials to ensure quality education. After this, while inspecting Harpur Model Police Station, he said that the state government is continuously working to make the police system modern, strong and people-oriented.
Law and order will be further strengthened with the new police station building, police lines and training centres. Officials said that the new police station has all the necessary facilities like public hearing room, records management, surveillance control room, women-child facility room, wireless and computer room.

5 big announcements of the Chief Minister
1. Degree colleges in every block – B.Ed colleges will also become degree colleges.
The Chief Minister said that under Seven Nishchay-3, the government’s aim is to open degree colleges in every block. Recently 211 new government degree colleges were started, with Asarganj College this number has now increased to 212. He said that degree colleges will be opened in all B.Ed colleges of Bihar in a phased manner. With this, rural students will get higher education near their home.
2. Half-day studies in government schools on Saturday
Big decision for the all-round development of students. This will give children time for sports and other activities. The ground in front of Asarganj School will also be developed.
3. Live classes and 24×7 digital help
CM said that live classes will be started in all the blocks. Through the digital app, students will be able to take online guidance from teachers till 11 pm. He said that earlier due to lack of resources, poor children were not able to prepare for NEET-JEE, now arrangements for coaching and higher education are being made in every block.

4. Industries and International Airport at Tarapur
The Chief Minister made two big announcements for the development of Tarapur. Industries will be established here and an international level airport will be built. Land acquisition for this has started. With this, local youth will get employment in Bihar itself and Munger-Tarapur will become a new center of development.
5. Kanwar Yatra – Example of social harmony
The Chief Minister described the Kanwar Yatra from Sultanganj to Baba Dham as a symbol of social harmony. He said that wearing clothes of one color, lakhs of people walk more than 100 km and perform Jalabhishek. An example of greater equality than this is rare in the world. Inaugurating Asarganj Degree College, the CM said that it was part of his election promise.
He said that Bihar is developing rapidly with the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former CM Nitish Kumar and NDA leadership. He will live up to the trust reposed by the people of Tarapur. A large number of students, teachers and local people were present in the program. There is an atmosphere of happiness in the area due to announcements related to education, security and employment. People believe that with these decisions the picture of Tarapur will completely change in the coming times.
