Ghaziabad: A heinous case of gang rape and murder of a 7-year-old innocent girl has come to light at the site of an under-construction mall in Raj Nagar Extension area of ​​Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The girl’s younger brothers saw that two strange men were taking her away after giving her chips and cold drinks. A few hours later his body was found in the sub-basement of the mall.

The girl’s parents work as laborers at this construction site. He has been living in this area for four years. At around 7 pm on Friday evening, the girl was playing outside with her 8 and 10 year old brothers. When both the boys returned home at 8 o’clock, the mother started searching for her daughter. The family members kept waiting for a long time. The girl’s body was found at around 1 o’clock in the night.

According to the police, the girl was taken to the third floor, raped and then thrown down the shaft. There were deep injuries on the head and face on the dead body. Hands and legs were broken. The body was recovered about five hours after the incident.

Accused caught from CCTV footage

Nandgram police and forensic team investigated on the spot. Two accused were identified from the CCTV footage of the construction site. In the footage, both the accused were seen taking the girl along at 7:40 pm. Police have taken both of them into custody, one of whom is a minor.

Reaction of family and neighbors

The girl’s mother told that guards are deployed at the construction site and many labor families live in slums nearby. Still no one came to identify the accused. He said, “I don’t know who these people are, but those who have done this to my daughter should be hanged.”

A neighbor told that both the accused had come to work just four days ago. The police is investigating the matter thoroughly. This incident has spread anger in the entire area. People are raising questions on the security system.
