Currently, Ranveer Singh is preparing for the upcoming film ‘Pralaya’, for which the actor has fully geared up. ‘Pralaya’ is being discussed for a long time and meanwhile a big update on this film has come out. The news is that Ranveer Singh will start shooting for it from next month. Also, after completing its shooting, the actor is also going to go on paternity break.
According to the latest report, Ranveer Singh will start shooting for the zombie thriller film ‘Pralaya’ being made under the direction of Jai Mehta next month. The shooting of the film will continue till Diwali, after which production will be halted as Singh will take a break to be with his family for the birth of his second child with wife Deepika Padukone.
After the resounding success of ‘Dhurandhar’, fans are eagerly waiting for Ranveer Singh’s next film ‘Pralaya’. According to the report of Variety India, the screenplay of this zombie thriller film has been written by Jai Mehta along with Vishal Kapoor. Vishal Kapoor is known for his work in ‘Lutere’. The shooting of the film ‘Pralaya’ will start from next month i.e. August and will continue till Diwali, after which the production work will be stopped for some time. The second schedule is expected to begin sometime in 2027.
Ranveer Singh is going to take paternity leave after shooting for Pralay till Diwali, because Deepika Padukone is going to give birth to her second child soon. In such a situation, Ranveer Singh will take a break to spend time with his family. Deepika-Ranveer had announced their second pregnancy through a joint Instagram post in April. Padukone is currently in the third trimester of her pregnancy.
Talking about the holocaust, the budget of this film is said to be around Rs 300 crore and will be shot in Australia. Kalyani Priyadarshan will be seen in the lead role opposite Ranveer Singh in this film. At present its pre-production work is going on in full swing. No information has been given yet about the cast and complete production timeline of the film and the makers have not made any official announcement yet.
