The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has released the results of the 2025 written examination for the Direct Recruitment of Constable Civil Police and equivalent positions. Candidates who took the exam for 32,679 positions can now check their results, normalized scores, and category-wise cutoffs on the board’s website.
Approximately 76,000 candidates who passed the written examination will now be called for document verification and physical standard testing, scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026. According to the recruitment board, a total of 2,886,797 candidates applied for 32,679 vacant posts of constable civil police and equivalent positions. These include 1,962,560 male candidates and 924,237 female candidates.
The written examination was conducted in six shifts on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026, at examination centers across the state. Following the examination, the normalization process was completed and the results were declared. Based on merit, reservation rules, and minimum qualifying marks, the Board selected approximately 76,184 candidates for document verification and physical standard testing. This number represents approximately 2.33 times the advertised number of positions. All candidates who achieved the same cutoff score have also been included.
According to the recruitment board, the document verification and physical standard test process is scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026. Detailed information about the exam center, date, and time will be released soon on the board’s official website. Candidates who pass the document verification and physical test will then be required to appear for the physical efficiency test, which the board has proposed to conduct in September 2026. A detailed schedule will be released separately. Candidates can view their results, normalized scores, and category-wise cutoffs by visiting the recruitment board’s website and entering their registration number and date of birth.
