IND vs ENG: Dinesh Karthik selected Team India’s playing 11 for the first ODI, did not give place to the star player

IND vs ENG: The first match of the ODI series between Team India and England will be played in Edgbaston, Birmingham. This match to be held on 14th July is going to start at 3:30 pm Indian time. Team India is strengthening its preparations for the ICC ODI World Cup 2027 with every series. Due to which everyone’s eyes are on India’s playing 11. Former Indian player Dinesh Karthik has selected the probable playing 11 of Team India. In which the star player has not been given place.

Karthik did not give place to the player who scored a double century. 

Team India is coming after winning the ODI series against Afghanistan. In such a situation, only captain Shubhman Gill and Rohit Sharma are going to play as opening batsmen. Whereas veteran Virat Kohli is going to be seen playing at number 3 after a long comeback. Everyone’s eyes are going to be on vice-captain Shreyas Iyer. At the same time, KL Rahul is going to play the role of wicketkeeper batsman once again. Karthik has not included Ishan Kishan, who scored a double century, in his playing 11. Whereas Shivam Dubey is going to be seen as a fast bowling all-rounder.

Dinesh Karthik did not give place to Akshar Patel in the role of spin all-rounder. Whereas Kuldeep Yadav has been selected by Karthik as the main spinner. Due to which he has not given place to Washington Sundar in his playing 11. Talking about fast bowling, Karthik has kept Prince Yadav, Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah. Karthik has kept Prasidh Krishna and Gurnoor Brar out of the playing 11. Krishna’s performance in T-20 is now going against him.
