Big action by police in Vaishali double murder case! The accused, who was running away after killing his uncle and brother, was shot in an encounter.

Vaishali: Police took swift action against the main accused of double murder in Vaishali district of Bihar and arrested him in an encounter. During the police action, the accused was shot in both his legs, after which he was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

It is being told that the accused had shot dead his uncle and his cousin working in the army a day earlier in an old dispute on the road. After this incident, an atmosphere of tension was created in the entire area.

Police action after double murder

According to the information, on Sunday morning in Rajsan village of Bidupur police station area, accused Jagdish Rai, along with his associates, attacked uncle Munarik Rai and his son Jitendra Kumar Rai over a road dispute. Jitendra was posted in the Signal Corps of the Indian Army and had come to his village on leave.

After the incident, the police registered the case and started searching for the accused. On Monday, there was an encounter between the police and the accused in Dilawarpur Hemati Gachhi area. During this, the accused was shot in both his legs and he was arrested.

The dispute over land and road was 10 years old

According to family members, there was a dispute going on between the two families for the last ten years regarding the land and the access route to the banana plantation. Many times attempts were made to resolve the matter through Panchayat, but the dispute did not end completely.

It is being told that on the day of the incident, Munarik Rai and his son had reached some distance from the house, when the accused who were already in ambush attacked them. Munarik Rai died on the spot due to bullet injury, while seriously injured Jitendra Kumar Rai died in the hospital.

Family members also raised questions on the police

The relatives of the deceased allege that earlier also information about the dispute was given to the local police, but no effective action was taken in time. He says that if serious action had been taken on the complaint, this incident could have been prevented.

Accused admitted to hospital, investigation ongoing

The condition of the accused injured in the encounter is currently said to be stable and he is undergoing treatment. Police have intensified the investigation of the case and the search for other accused involved in the incident is also going on. Officials say that strict action will be taken against all the culprits as per law.
