The character of Jethalal in this serial is still the most favorite of the fans. This role played by actor Dilip Joshi got him a different recognition in the household. However, for the past few days, various discussions have started taking place on social media regarding the role of Jethalal.

According to media reports, there is talk of reducing the screen time of Jethalal’s role in the serial. It is also rumored that the plot will now revolve around a newly joined Rajasthani family. The family has four main characters, a husband and wife and their two children. Kuldeep Gor plays the role of the husband, while Dharti Bhatt plays the role of the wife. As the audience likes the story of this family that runs a saree shop, more emphasis will be placed on it, it was reported.

However, the producers of the series have clarified these discussions. Speaking to Aaj Tak, he said that currently the plot of the serial revolves around Jethalal and no decision has been taken to reduce his role or remove him from the serial. The 18th anniversary of the serial will be celebrated on July 28, and a new promo has been released on the occasion.

Meanwhile, the popular Jethalal-Dayaben track could not be taken forward as Dayaben’s character is yet to return to the series. Also, viewers are of the opinion that Jethalal’s screen time has been relatively reduced due to more emphasis on the new Rajasthani family and Bagha-Bawari storyline in the recent episodes.

Many fans on social media also asked “Where is Dilip Joshi?” Such a question has been raised. However, after the explanation of the producers, it has become clear that Jethalal’s character will continue in the serial, and this is a comforting news for his fans.
