Politics intensifies on Maharashtra TET paper leak, Rahul Gandhi bombarded questions, CM Fadnavis replied
The political atmosphere in the country is heated over alleged irregularities in NEET-UG and other examinations. First there was an uproar over the NEET paper leak and then Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026 paper leak in Maharashtra and created an uproar. Recently the TET exam paper was leaked in Maharashtra, after which the exam was canceled with immediate effect. The opposition is continuously attacking BJP over the matter. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha leader of opposition and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday criticized the Maharashtra government.
Rahul Gandhi has raised questions on the cancellation of TET 2026 by sharing a post on X. He said that even after two weeks of cancellation of the examination, no new date has been announced, due to which about six lakh candidates are in limbo but there is no clue about the new date of the examination. He said that those who leak papers are roaming freely under BJP rule. The system is spotless and only those who have worked honestly are paying the price.
Rahul Gandhi has three big demands from Fadnavis government
Rahul Gandhi further said that these are the hardworking and future teachers of the country, in whose hands the future of India is. They prepared diligently for years, filled applications, deposited examination fees and traveled to far-flung centers to take the examination. But now they are forced to just wait without any fixed date and clear answer. Rahul Gandhi said that the time has come for revolution in education. Now to create a system where the youth get the fruits of their hard work, and not the failures of the system. Therefore, I have three demands from Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis..
- The date of new TET exam should be announced immediately.
- Strict action should be taken against those responsible for paper leak, candidates should not be punished for this.
- Candidates whose one year has been affected due to paper leak should be given appropriate relaxation in age limit.
CM Fadnavis’s answer to Rahul Gandhi’s questions
Now the statement of state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also come out on the statement given by Rahul Gandhi regarding Maharashtra TET paper leak. Chief Minister Fadnavis said that he wants to tell Rahul Gandhi that this matter has been investigated and action has also been taken. Concrete steps are being taken to ensure that such incidents do not happen again in future. Apart from this, the CM sarcastically said that the most important thing is whether Rahul Gandhi is asking for this information while staying in our country India or sitting somewhere abroad and asking for answers through social media.
Maharashtra TET paper leaked, exam cancelled. 6 lakh candidates in limbo. Two weeks have passed, no sign of a new date.
The leakers are free, the system is clean and those who worked honestly are suffering the punishment.
These are the working and future teachers of the country in whose hands the future of India…
