However, his close friend and filmmaker Shailendra Singh has revealed an interesting insight into the hard work and sacrifice that goes behind this charisma. Sharing an old anecdote, he revealed that Salman Khan was casually enjoying biryani even while getting his hair treated, and jokingly remarked that this is the price of being a star. In a podcast, Shailendra Singh recounted that he visited Salman Khan at his Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai. It was a typical Monday party atmosphere. Salman was sitting at the dining table, eating and chatting with friends while looking at himself in the mirror. According to Shailendra, Salman likes to look at himself in the mirror while eating, and the two were engaged in conversation.
Suddenly, a man arrived with medical equipment. Without interrupting the conversation, he put on his gloves and began injecting Salman Khan’s head. Watching the scene, Shailendra was momentarily stunned, as Salman continued to eat the biryani and continue talking without any discomfort.
When Shailendra asked him what all the fuss was about, Salman smiled and replied, “Friend, that’s the price of being a star.” His response lightened the mood but also showed how much effort actors put into maintaining their persona and looks.
Later, Shailendra learned that Salman Khan was undergoing platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. This treatment involves creating platelet-rich plasma from a person’s own blood and injecting it into the scalp to strengthen hair roots and promote hair growth. Today, this therapy is quite popular among those suffering from hair loss.
Shailendra Singh also explained that he wasn’t aware of this procedure at the time. Later, he realized it was a common medical treatment, and many prominent actors also resort to it. He said that thinning hair is natural as we age, and many actors undergo such treatments to maintain their personality. Citing the example of actor Hrithik Roshan, he said that many stars utilize such modern medical techniques.
On the professional front, Salman Khan will soon be seen in his new film, Matrubhoomi. Actress Chitrangada Singh stars alongside him in the lead role. The film was originally titled “Battle of Galwan,” but was later changed to “Matrubhoomi.” However, an official announcement regarding the film’s release date is still awaited.
