New Delhi. The Ram Temple offering theft case is being heavily politicized. Opposition party leaders are targeting the central and Uttar Pradesh governments over the issue. A unique protest was also witnessed in Parliament on Friday. MP Pappu Yadav arrived at the Parliament premises wearing the saffron robes of a sadhu and staged a protest, attempting to expose the theft of offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Rahul Gandhi and other opposition MPs were also present during the protest.
Opposition MPs placed donation boxes in front of the steps of the Makar Dwar of Parliament. Independent MP Rajesh Ranjan, also known as Pappu Yadav, was seen sitting with these boxes, wearing saffron clothes. During the protest, an attempt was made to convey a message through drama. Other MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, put money in the donation boxes placed there. Meanwhile, Pappu Yadav put the money in his pocket, symbolizing the alleged theft of the Ram Temple donations.
‘Offering thief – leave the throne’
By ‘stealing the offerings’ at the Ram temple, BJP-RSS has played with the faith of crores of Ram devotees of the country – this is a grave sin.
Today, opposition MPs protested against ‘offering theft’ in a very unique way in the Parliament premises.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Samajwadi Party’s Awadhesh Prasad and Dharmendra Yadav, and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha’s Mahua Maji, among many other leaders, joined the protest. All the MPs stood behind a large banner that read, “Why is Amit Shah missing from the House?”
Additionally, opposition parties attempted to corner the government over the lathicharge on students at Jantar Mantar. Opposition MPs demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah. They also questioned Shah’s absence from the House proceedings. MPs protested in front of the Makar Gate of Parliament, chanting slogans like “Amit Shah resign,” “Amit Shah come to the House,” and “Offering thief, leave the throne.”
