Bhadohi. Ashish Yadav, a young hockey player from the district, has achieved a significant achievement through his talent and hard work. He has been selected for the Uttar Pradesh men’s hockey team. Ashish will now play for the Uttar Pradesh team in the National Hockey Championship, to be held in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, from July 28th to August 8th.
Upon receiving the news of Ashish Yadav’s selection, a resident of Panchmahala Devnathpur (Lakshmanpatti) village in Bhadohi, the family and the entire village were filled with joy. Coming from a rural background to the national level, Ashish has proven that hard work, discipline, and dedication to the sport can lead to great heights.
Ashish’s achievement is being seen as a major success in the district’s sports scene. Sports enthusiasts say his success will inspire other young players in Bhadohi to pursue hockey and other sports.
As soon as news of the selection was received, a stream of people poured in to congratulate Ashish at his ancestral home. Many sports enthusiasts, including District Hockey Association patron Shah Alam, Secretary Rajkamal, Treasurer Omprakash Pal, Dharmendra Kumar, Mahesh Yadav, and District Hockey Coach Munavvar Hussain, extended their best wishes to Ashish Yadav and wished him a strong performance in the national competition.
