Along with this, the song ‘Kahan Gaya Ush Dhundo’ from Aamir Khan’s film ‘3 Idiots’ was also sung, the story of which was mainly inspired by Sonam Wangchuk.

Zeenat Aman had appealed to the government for dialogue
Before Abhay Deol, actress Zeenat Aman had also written a detailed post on Instagram appealing to the government to start talks on the demands of Sonam Wangchuk.

He had written that according to media reports, Wangchuk’s health is continuously deteriorating and he is facing a lot of physical pain. Zeenat Aman said that in a democracy, peaceful protests should be respected and the government should adopt the path of dialogue in such matters. In her message, Zeenat Aman appreciated the work done by Sonam Wangchuk in the field of education and environmental protection.

He also told that the popular character ‘Phunsukh Wangdu’ from Aamir Khan’s superhit film ‘3 Idiots’ is largely inspired by the personality of Sonam Wangchuk.

Sonam Wangchuk is associated with the ongoing movement at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and has been sitting on an indefinite hunger strike for several days. The organization leading the movement claims that since the start of the fast, his weight has reduced significantly and his health is continuously deteriorating.

The protesters are reportedly demanding action on issues related to the NEET exam. They are also demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and compensation to the affected families.

Preparation for Parliament march on 20th July
The organization associated with the movement has announced that a peaceful march will be taken out to Parliament on July 20, the first day of the monsoon session.
