World Plastic Surgery Day: ‘What God does not give, doctors give’; When these 4 actresses publicly admitted their plastic surgery

In the glamor world and entertainment industry, it is considered a professional requirement of the stars to always look perfect, stay away from wrinkles and give their best presence on screen. In such a situation, celebs often resort to cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery to make themselves look better or to fulfill any medical need. Today (15 July 2026) is World Plastic Surgery Day. Generally, in the cinema world, efforts are made to hide these changes and surgical treatments and people avoid talking about it. But there are some brave actresses in Bollywood and television industry, who have completely ignored this hesitation. These beauties admitted very honestly to the world that yes, they have taken the help of medical science and plastic surgery to improve their looks. When it comes to just temporary treatments like lip fillers, Botox or under-eye fillers, many stars have talked about it. But when it comes to publicly admitting surgical procedures (like a nose job or breast implants), very few people can show such courage. Let’s know about those 4 actresses who broke the stereotypes: 1. Priyanka Chopra – When she was called ‘Plastic Chopra’ after the wrong surgery. The first and biggest name in this list is that of global icon Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka had revealed this deep secret in her bestseller autobiography ‘Unfinished’, released in the year 2021. He had told that in the initial phase of his career, he had a polyp or lump in his nose. The surgery done to remove it went wrong and due to the doctor’s mistake his entire face changed. Because of this, she had to face immense mental stress and people in the film industry and media started calling her mercilessly ‘Plastic Chopra’. After this, Priyanka had to again resort to a major corrective plastic surgery to restore the original shape of her nose. 2. Shruti Haasan – ‘Yes, I got nose surgery done and I have no fear’ Shruti Haasan, a well-known actress and rockstar singer of South and Bollywood films, has always been very transparent about her personal life and decisions. Without any hesitation, she had written in clear words, “Yes, I have done plastic surgery and I have no shame or fear in admitting this in front of the world. I have changed the shape of my nose (Nose Job).” Shruti had also clarified that she was not promoting plastic surgery in any way, rather it was completely her own personal decision, because she wanted to see some changes in her face. 3. Rakhi Sawant – ‘What God doesn’t give, doctors give’. Controversy queen Rakhi Sawant, famous for her outspokenness and flamboyance, had openly talked about this topic many years ago, when even thinking about it was considered a sin in Bollywood. His one-liner statement given in the show is still very popular in pop culture today that “What God does not give, doctors give.” Rakhi had openly admitted that at the beginning of her career, she had done breast enhancement and various facial surgeries to look glamorous, get more work and survive in the industry. 4. Eva Grover – Underwent permanent lip surgery. Senior film and TV actress Eva Grover, whom the audience saw in Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar’s popular show ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’, also showed amazing honesty in this matter. During an interview, Eva had confessed to the media that she had undergone a proper lip job i.e. lip surgery to give her upper lip a permanent plumper look. She had clarified that this was not a temporary lip filler that would become ineffective in four-six months, but a proper surgical procedure, because she was not at all happy with that part of her looks and wanted to make herself look better.
