UP Petrol Diesel Price Today: Retail fuel prices in India remained stable on Wednesday, while Brent crude prices saw improvement for the third consecutive day. There was a huge surge in oil prices after the ceasefire between US-Iran broke and US President Donald Trump threatened to attack the Islamic Republic further. Uncertainty regarding energy supply has increased due to blockages in the Strait of Hormuz shipping route.
On Tuesday, America again imposed blockade on Iran’s ports and launched new attacks. In response, Iran launched retaliatory attacks on American infrastructure in Bahrain and Kuwait early Wednesday. As both sides attacked each other, rising tensions created new risks for the market. International benchmark Brent crude rose 1.72% at $86.19 a barrel at 0029 GMT, after gaining 11% in the previous two sessions.
