Khargone: Two young men riding a motorcycle died on the spot in a horrific road accident in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday night. The motorcycle caught fire after colliding with a car and was completely destroyed.
According to reports, the accident occurred on the Sailani Bypass on Indore Road at around 8:30 pm on Saturday night. A speeding car hit a motorcycle. The accident was so severe that the two young men riding the motorcycle died on the spot.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Kasrawad police station in-charge Indresh Tripathi arrived at the scene with police force. Both bodies were sent to the district hospital by ambulance.
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Jayant Verma, a resident of Bistan Road, and Lucky Sonkar, a resident of Aurangapura in Khargone.
Eyewitnesses said the accident was caused by a speeding car. Police have established a crime scene and launched an investigation. The cause of the accident is being investigated and a search is underway for the driver.
