1. The East Palace – Netflix

Story: The story revolves around a king (Cho Seung Woo) who hires two people to find out the truth about a terrible curse looming over the royal family. One of them is ‘Gu Cheon’ (Nam Joo Hyuk), a very fearless but arrogant swordsman who has the power to kill ghosts, and the other is ‘Seung Gang’ (Roh Yoon Seo), a palace maid who hears the voices of the dead. Together they face the dark forces hidden in the palace.

2. Desire – Netflix

What’s special: This is a Mexican erotic thriller film, which tells the story of love, deception and passion.

Story: The story is about a successful lawyer named ‘Lucero’ (Ludwika Paleta), whose happy life starts getting ruined when she has an affair with her own daughter’s handsome swimming coach ‘Matias’ (Oscar Casas). The story takes a new turn when Lucero’s daughter also falls in love with the same coach. After this, a dangerous love triangle begins, which brings everyone to the brink of ruin.

3. Maa Inti Bangaaram – JioHotstar

What’s special: South superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu is going to be seen once again in her powerful action avatar in this film.

Story: This is a Telugu crime thriller film. The story is of ‘Swarna’ (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), who was once a dreaded shooter, but now she has left everything behind and is living a quiet life like an ordinary daughter-in-law. But it is said that the past never leaves you. When her old enemies threaten her new family, Swarna is forced to return to her bloody past.

Story: In this finale we will see Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke) standing at a new turning point in their lives. 5. 23,000 Lives – Netflix

What is special: This film is based on a true and very emotional incident of an organization named Jugend Ratet.

Story: Some passionate young activists from Berlin band together to raise funds and buy an old ship to rescue drowning refugees in the Mediterranean Sea. But this noble task of saving human lives soon turns extremely dangerous, and these young people are trapped in a legal and moral quagmire where their very humanity is put to the test.
