CJP Sonam Wangchuk: Actress Swara Bhaskar met Sonam Wangchuk, who was on hunger strike for 18 days, said a big thing in the Jantar Mantar protest

Sonam Wangchuk:Social activist Sonam Wangchuk’s indefinite hunger strike remains in the news. For 18 days, Sonam Wangchuk has been on hunger strike in response to the ongoing Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, due to which her health is deteriorating day by day. This movement is now getting support from the film industry also. Actress Swara Bhaskar reached the protest site on Tuesday and met Sonam Wangchuk as well as CJP founder Abhijit Dipke.

Two pictures of Swara Bhaskar from Jantar Mantar were shared on the official Instagram account of Cockroach Janata Party. It was written in the caption of the post that outspoken and fearless actress Swara Bhaskar came to join the movement.

Swara also shared this post on her Instagram story. He wrote for Abhijeet Dipke, “Thank you for fighting for the future of our children.”

Whereas for Sonam Wangchuk he wrote, “Sonam Wangchuk sir is fighting tirelessly for the future of your children. My full support and gratitude to him.”

Hunger strike continues on 18th day
Sonam Wangchuk has been sitting on an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar for the last 18 days. He has joined the Cockroach Janata Party movement, which is demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the NEET exam.

Wangchuk took part in the movement on June 28 and has been on a continuous hunger strike since then.

Abhijeet Dipke expressed concern about health
Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke expressed concern about Sonam Wangchuk’s health on social media platform X. He told that due to being on hunger strike for a long time, Wangchuk’s muscle mass has started decreasing and he is facing a lot of physical problems.

Many Bollywood actors came out in support of the movement
Many well-known personalities have also expressed concern about Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike. Many people including writer Arundhati Roy, actor Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Pathak Shah, filmmaker Sanjay Kak have appealed to the Cockroach Janata Party to consider ending Wangchuk’s indefinite hunger strike.

Meanwhile, actor Omi Vaidya, who became popular by playing the character of Chatur Ramalingam in the film 3 Idiots, has also released a video and appealed to the people to openly raise their voice on this issue.

Announcement of Parliament march on 20th July
Cockroach Janata Party has also announced to take out a march to Parliament on 20th July. The organization says that the agitation will continue until appropriate action is taken on their demands.
