Recipe to make onion hair oil for hair care in rains
Hair protection in rainy season
Monsoon season not only brings freshness, but it can also be challenging for our hair. During this time, due to humidity in the air, many people face problems like scalp infections, dandruff and excessive hair fall.
If you are troubled by hair fall while combing, then resort to natural home remedies instead of expensive chemical products. Here we are telling you the method of making an effective onion hair oil, which is helpful in preventing hair fall, improving damaged hair and preventing premature graying.
Material
Onion (red) – 2 medium sized (chopped)
Coconut oil (or sesame oil) – 1 cup
Castor oil – 2 tbsp (to make hair thick)
Curry leaves – 10-12 (to maintain hair color)
Fenugreek seeds – 1 tablespoon
method of making oil
Making paste: First of all, grind the chopped onion in a blender without water and make a thick paste. If you want, you can grate the onion and extract its juice.
Heating the oil: Add coconut oil and castor oil in an iron pan and heat it on low flame. Cooking oil in an iron pan increases its properties.
Mixing the ingredients: Add onion paste (or juice), fenugreek seeds and curry leaves to hot oil.
Simmer: Keep the flame very low and let the mixture boil slowly. Keep stirring continuously to prevent the mixture from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
Strain the oil: After about 20-25 minutes, when the onion paste turns light brown and the water dries completely, turn off the flame. Let the oil cool. When it cools down, filter it through a muslin cloth or fine sieve and fill it in a dry glass bottle.
of using
Warm the oil slightly and massage gently into the scalp and hair roots with your fingers for 10-15 minutes. Leave it on your hair overnight and wash it off the next morning with a mild or sulphate-free shampoo.
