South Bihar Express: Relief to devotees during Shravani fair, South Bihar Express has temporary halt at Mankatha station

Passengers will get benefit in Shravani Mela

The Danapur division of East Central Railway has made this decision in view of the increasing number of passengers traveling to Deoghar during the Shravani fair. The South Bihar Express, operated by South East Central Railway, will now stop at Mankatha station for a designated period, providing additional convenience to pilgrims traveling to Babadham.

Trains from both directions will get stoppage

According to the timetable released by the railways, the 13287 Durg-Ara South Bihar Express will arrive at Mankatha station at 4:11 am and depart at 4:13 pm from July 30 to August 28, 2026. The 13288 Ara-Durg South Bihar Express will arrive at Mankatha station at 10:37 pm and depart at 10:39 pm during the same period.

The journey of devotees will be easy

According to railway officials, this temporary stop is specifically for the convenience of pilgrims traveling to Baba Baidyanath Dham during the Shravani Mela. This will provide passengers with better connectivity and a more comfortable journey.

The arrangement will be in place from July 30 to August 28.

The Railways has clarified that this stoppage at Manaktha Railway Station will be effective only from July 30 to August 28, 2026. After the expiry of the stipulated period, trains will run as per their pre-scheduled operations.
