UP Digital Labor Chowk App will provide employment to construction workers and ease to employers

Jhansi. Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board has launched “UP Digital Labor Chowk” mobile app with the aim of providing better employment opportunities to construction workers and connecting them with government welfare schemes.
Deputy Labor Commissioner Kiran Mishra said on Thursday that this app will act as an effective digital platform between construction workers and employers, making the employment process more transparent, simple and quick.
He told that this app named “UP DIGITAL LABOR CHOWK” is available on Google Play Store. Construction workers, employers, builders, contractors, construction agencies and other establishments can register themselves on this app.
Employers who require workers for construction work will be able to get information about registered workers as per their need and contact them directly.
According to the Deputy Labor Commissioner, this app will act as a digital labor market, where workers will register their availability and employers will be able to select workers as per their requirement.
This will make it easier for workers to get employment, while trained and registered workers will be easily available to builders and contractors.
Apart from this, information about various welfare schemes run by Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board can also be obtained through the app.
Kiran Mishra has appealed to all the construction workers, builders, contractors, construction agencies, labor organizations and the general public to use the UP Digital Labor Chowk app as much as possible and also make the workers working around them aware about it.
He also requested all the executing agencies to compulsorily register their construction workers through the app.
