Jessica Alba surprises fans by joining Netflix’s ’13 Going on 30′ reboot
Jessica Alba has joined the cast of Netflix’s 13 Going on 30 reboot, as per Deadline.
She will be joining Emily Bader, Logan Lerman and Adeline Rudolph.
Details about the 45-year-old actress’ role remain tightly guarded, as does the sequel’s plot.
Jennifer Garner, who starred in the original film as Jenna Rink, is still part of the production but this time as an executive producer.
The 2004 fan favourite movie 13 Going on 30 tells the story of a 13-year-old girl who magically transforms into her 30-year-old self.

This forces her to embrace adulthood while finding her true identity.
Production of the reboot reportedly started in Los Angeles in May.
Jessica confirmed the news of her casting on Instagram, on July 15.
“One of those movies that truly never gets old,” she captioned the post. “Thrilled to be part of reimagining such an iconic film alongside an incredible cast and creative team.”
Fans flooded the comment section with their excitement.
“If I wasn’t excited before, I am now,” one user said.
“That should be good!” another remarked.
