Materials

  • 4 bread slices
  • 2 medium-sized boiled potatoes
  • 100 grams grated or crumbled paneer
  • Half a cup of boiled sweet corn
  • 1 finely chopped onion (optional)
  • 1-2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper powder
  • Half a teaspoon of chaat masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter or ghee

Method of preparing stuffing

Mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl, add paneer, sweet corn, onion, green chillies, coriander, black pepper, chaat masala and salt and mix all the ingredients well. The mixture should be soft and thick, so that it can be easily spread on the bread. Apply butter on one slice of bread. Spread the prepared stuffing evenly on it. Cover with the second slice and prepare the sandwich. Now butter the sandwich on both sides in a toaster or pan and roast it until it turns golden brown. The sandwich will be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Serve the hot sandwich with tomato sauce, green chutney or mayonnaise. A glass of milk, buttermilk or fresh fruit juice along with it makes the breakfast more balanced and nutritious.

Suitable Tips

You can add grated cheese, oregano, or chili flakes to make the sandwich more delicious. Using brown or multigrain bread makes this breakfast healthier and gives you energy for the day.
