America is helpless before Iran! Many US soldiers injured in attack on Jordan, even Patriot interceptor did not work

US Iran Conflict: Military tension between America and Iran is continuously increasing. On Friday night, both the countries attacked each other’s military bases and strategic targets. US Central Command (CENTCOM) said that for the seventh consecutive night, military bases, surveillance centers, logistics hubs and underground weapons stores linked to Iran were targeted. At the same time, in retaliation, Iran has claimed to launch missile and drone attacks on American military bases in many countries including Jordan.

American officials claim- many soldiers injured

At least two military bases used by the U.S. military in Jordan were attacked this week, injuring several American soldiers, U.S. officials told CBS News. However, official information about the number of injured soldiers, their identities or the severity of their injuries has not been released yet. The US Defense Department (Pentagon) has also not officially confirmed these injuries at present.

American targets were targeted in many countries

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed that it attacked US military bases in Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Syria with ballistic missiles and drones. The IRGC claims the strikes targeted military assets such as command centers, aircraft shelters, fuel storage, ammunition depots and HIMARS launchers.

Jordan claimed to have shot down 10 missiles

The Jordanian army issued a statement saying that its air defense system intercepted and shot down 10 Iranian missiles. According to the army, no civilian or military base was damaged and no casualties were reported.

Iranian IRBM strike apparently hit the troop billeting area at Muwaffaq Al Salti Air Base in Jordan.

The shelters there are just concrete culverts behind Texas barriers — meant to contain fragments and fire, not stop direct missile hits.

Why is the Salt Air Base important?

Muwafak Salt Air Base in Jordan is considered an important center of US military operations in the Middle East. American fighter planes, drones and support forces are deployed here. In recent months it has also been considered an important hub for possible operations against Iran. Apart from this, soldiers are also deployed at America’s Tower-22, Prince Hassan Air Base and other military establishments in Jordan. According to estimates, there are about 3,000 to 4,000 US soldiers present in Jordan.
