England released 2 players

Before the third and deciding match of the ODI series being played with India, England has released its 2 star players. Yes, England has released its star all-rounder Liam Dawson and wicketkeeper-batsman Tom Bunton from the squad. This decision has been taken so that both these players can play for their respective teams in the finals day of T20 Blast.

Let us tell you, the finals day match of T-20 Blast is going to be played in Edgbaston. In the first semi-final match, the teams of Northamptonshire Steelbacks and Somerset will face each other. After this, Hampshire Hawks will face Notts Outlaws in the second semi-final. The winning teams in both the semi-finals will make it to the final and the final match will also be played on the same day.

How was the performance of both in this series?

Tom Bunton was not included in the playing-11 of even a single match in the ODI series being played with the Indian cricket team. Talking about Dawson, he was played in the first ODI, in which England lost. After this, changes were made in the team and Dawson was dropped from the playing 11 of the second ODI match. It is worth noting that in the first ODI against India, Liam Dawson gave the best performance of his international career and played a brilliant inning of 68 runs. India won the first match of the series, while England won the second match and leveled the series at 1-1. In such a situation, the team which wins the third match will be called the winner of this series.

There is very little possibility of any change in England’s playing-11 in the third and decisive ODI match to be played with India. Since, in the second match of the series played in Cardiff, England had shown an amazing game and had won.
